Horses For Sale

The following horses are for sale, but I would consider letting them go on loan (staying on the yard) with the view to buy. Please contact Gerda with any enquiries.

The first three horses below are triplets, born to 3 different surrogate mares in May 2011 at Water Farm. We are now bringing them on and looking to sell them to the right riders into a hopefully permanent home.

Shanziska (stable name Ginger) (16h) – SOLD

Ginger is a 3 year old Westphalian filly, born and bred at Water Farm. She stands at present at 16hh and is expected to make at least 16’2hh. She is by Showmaker out of Franziska a Fürst Heinrich mare, presently being lightly backed at Water Farm. She has 3 high quality paces and displays all the hallmarks and attitudes of a high class dressage horse of the future. She needs a competent/professional rider to take her all the way to the top.

Showzka (stable name Tommy) (16.1h) – SOLD

Tommy is a 3 year old Westphalian gelding, born and bred at Water Farm — he is Ginger’s full brother (Showmaker/Franziska). He stands at present at 16’1hh and will make easy 16’3hh. Right now he is also lightly backed and shows willing and is intelligent. He has 3 good correct paces but not as flashy as those of his two siblings. He is an athlete and more likely suited to eventing or as on all-rounder.

Tommy

Shazan (stable name Wally) (16h) – SOLD

Wally is the third sibling. He is also 3 years old, a Westphalian gelding and the full brother of the both above (Showmaker/Franziska). He stands at 16’hh and is expected to make 16’2hh. Like his siblings he was born and bred at Water Farm and is being here at present lightly backed. He is very kind and loving, has flamboyant paces and should make an impressive dressage horse for the right and sympathetic rider.

Wally

Seagry Sienna (15.3h) – SOLD

Seagry Sienna is a 5 year old black, very pretty Oldenburg mare presently kept at Water Farm for professional schooling. She is kind and loving, hacks out in company, is working at Prelim level at home and is now ready to start competing. She is easy to deal with in every way and a pleasure to have around. She is a perfect ladies horse and would make a loyal friend. She is very well bread with Sandro Hit and Metal in her pedigree. As with all horses I sell, she could be on loan for a period of time, staying at Water Farm until the buyer is certain it’s the right horse

Spellbound First Lady – Dottie (15.2h)- SOLD

Dottie is her stable name, she is a 5 year old very smart and pretty Skewbald mare with a promising future ahead of her. Dottie has full papers and is part Saddlebred. Professionally backed last autumn, Dottie is now in full work and doing well. She has a very friendly and willing nature combined with lots of talent. She is competing in dressage at Prelim and working at home at Novice level and she is jumping at home, her  jump is stylish and without hesitation. She is easy to do and always tries to please. She is a ladies horse and will make the right rider a wonderful all-rounder and friend.
